Yes. Best Crystal primarily sells online throughout the United States, but we also display and sell products in the showroom adjacent to our distribution center 15 miles east of Seattle, Washington. If you are near Issaquah, Washington and would like to purchase from our showroom, please call 425-394-0907 for directions and an appointment. Operating our online store, showroom, warehouse, distribution center and administrative offices at the same place keeps our costs lower than competitors, allows us to stock and sell an extensive selection of merchandise and provide free nationwide insured ground shipping on orders over $59, free gift wrapping and discounts on some products. We also have the ability to ship directly to our customers from our manufacturers’ distribution facilities when it will expedite delivery.

We will not charge your credit card until your order ships, unless we hold your order at your request for a future ship date or for signing by a Waterford Ambassador. If an item is backordered, we will notify you of the delay and the estimated shipping date. You always have the option of canceling your order up until it enters the shipping process (when we cannot stop it from being shipped and delivered). All credit and debit card information is verified and charges are authorized when an order is placed. Your bank may reserve or hold funds when a charge is authorized, but no funds are transferred to our bank until we charge your card when your order ships.

Best Crystal fully insures every shipment and promptly replaces any broken or defective products. We pack our shipments very carefully and breakage is rare. However, if merchandise is damaged in transit or is defective, please notify us immediately at 1-866-516-0907 for instructions on how to make a damage claim. We ask that damage and defective claims be reported to us within 30 days of the shipment date.
We guarantee your satisfaction. If for any reason you are not satisfied, you may return your unused merchandise within 60 days of purchase for a refund, exchange, or in-store credit, unless an item has been engraved or signed. Yes. Best Crystal provides free UPS Insured Ground Shipping throughout the contiguous United States for orders over $59. Orders under $59 are charged a flat ground shipping fee of $9.95, except to Alaska and Hawaii. Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii and faster shipments to other locations are available at reasonable rates. We insure all of our shipments. We are unable to ship to PO Boxes. Please see our shipping policies section for detailed information.
We stock many of the items we sell. When all the items in an order are in our warehouse, we ship the same day the order is received, or the next shipping day if an order is received after our daily shipping pickup, on the weekend or on a holiday.
Although Best Crystal has a large inventory, we cannot stock everything we sell. If the item you ordered is not in our warehouse or if it will be faster to ship it from our manufacturer, we may have it shipped directly from the manufacturer to you or your gift recipient so that it will be delivered promptly. Please see our shipping information and gift wrapping policy for more information on gift wrapping and shipping options. If we discover that an item you ordered is out of stock at the manufacturer or that shipping your order will be delayed more than a few business days, we will contact you and provide you with the options of changing, canceling or waiting for your order.
Shipping times from Best Crystal vary according to the shipping method selected and the shipping distance. When an item is in stock and we ship it from our warehouse in Issaquah, WA, UPS ground shipping takes 1-3 business days to west coast locations, 3-4 business days to central locations and a 5-6 business days to east coast locations. UPS does not count the day an item is shipped, weekends or holidays as shipping days and does not deliver on Saturdays without a surcharge, Next Day Air and special arrangements (call us at 1-866-516-0907 if Saturday delivery is needed). In some instances, it may be faster to ship an order from our manufacturers' distribution centers. Yes. We will gladly wrap your purchase for free and enclose a gift message at your request. Please type your message on the order form exactly as you would like it to appear on the gift card. We will not edit or correct the message. On our checkout page, we provide you with three gift wrapping options: No gift wrapping, gift wrap only if in stock (otherwise ship directly from the manufacturer), or gift wrap even if it takes 10 days or so for us to receive an out-of-stock item from the manufacturer. If you provide us with a gift message and the gift is shipped directly from the manufacturer, we will mail your gift recipient a gift receipt and your gift card with your message and a notation that a gift is being sent directly from the manufacturer on your behalf. No, we only ship to U.S. addresses and only accept credit cards issued by U.S. financial institutions. Some customers have us ship to a U.S. address and they ship it to an international address.
Perfection can only be achieved in assembly line manufactured products. With hand crafted glass objects, perfection is not possible, or even desirable. Individual pieces may differ slightly and be unique. Is a seed or bubble a flaw? No. Pinpoint sized bubbles, visible when examined under a bright light, do not affect the quality or beauty of the glass. Is a line or cord a flaw? No. A line or cord is a slight difference in the density of the glass that is visible when reflecting light. When a stem is filled with liquid, no light is reflected and this difference in density, or cord, is invisible.
Nambe alloy is an eight-metal, aluminum-based alloy created at Los Alamos National Labs in the 1940s. Nambe does not contain silver or lead. Because Nambe's alloy is a trade secret, Nambe does not divulge the rest of the formula. The FDA has declared Nambe safe for cooking and serving. No. The heat and abrasive detergents may damage your crystal or your Nambe metal. Please see our clean and care recommendations.
Crystal is a fragile material and requires delicate handling. We recommend the following so that your fine crystal and glassware maintain their brilliance and integrity:
Wash your fine crystal and glassware by hand in moderately hot water with a mild, non-abrasive, detergent and 1/4 cup ammonia (to prevent spotting). Rinse in clean water and air dry on a rack, or hand dry immediately with a soft cotton cloth.
Fine crystal and glassware can crack or break when subjected to extremes of hot and cold. Before putting very warm food or liquid into a crystal container, we recommend you preheat the crystal with moderately hot tap water. Do not pour cold beverages into a pitcher or bowl that's just been washed with hot water. Likewise, do not wash a crystal piece that's just come out of the refrigerator; allow it to warm to room temperature first.
Clean vases and decanters by filling them half-full with moderately hot water, a small amount of mild detergent, two tablespoons of white vinegar or ammonia and one-quarter cup uncooked rice. Swirl the rice around for a few minutes to remove residue. Rinse well with moderately hot water and air dry, upside down, on a rack.
Always store your stemware upright to help prevent chipping.
Displaying in sunny windows for an extended period is not recommended.
Do not burn candles within one inch of the crystal to avoid damage to candleholders.
Hand-wash your Nambe metal with mild soap, a soft sponge and water. Dry immediately with a soft clean cloth. Never place Nambe in the dishwasher. Never leave Nambe in standing water.
Never place Nambe in a microwave oven.
Use care when placing heavier Nambe pieces on glass surfaces.
Nambe Polish with 0000 steel wool may be used on bowls, platters, plates and casseroles. Do not use the Polish or steel wool on any other Nambe items. Window cleaner and a soft cloth may be used for light cleaning. Silver or other metal polish is not recommended for Nambe items.
Each Nambe piece goes through a series of shaping, grinding, buffing and polishing steps. Slight imperfections found on Nambeâ€™s brilliant finish are characteristic of the sand-casting process, and since Nambe is handcrafted, no two pieces are exactly alike.
In addition to the above care provisions, use wooden or soft rubber utensils with Nambe metal bowls, platters, plates, trays and casseroles. Preheat or chill Nambe metal, then lightly coat the interior with cooking oil each time prior to placing food in it in order to protect the finish. Failure to do so will result in discoloration and/or pitting. Leaving food in Nambe for longer than 3 hours is not recommended and may result in discoloration.
In addition to the above care provisions, change water in vases daily to avoid discoloration. If discoloration does occur in a Nambe metal vase, the inside of the vase can be scrubbed with a bottle brush or medium grade steel wool. The interior of the vase is unfinished and will not be harmed by these slightly abrasive materials. Be careful not to scratch the finished exterior of the vase.
In addition to the above care provisions, you can pre-chill Nambe metal champagne flutes in the refrigerator before using them. It is best to wash and dry them soon after using them. Leaving Nambe metal champagne flutes unwashed overnight will result in discoloration.
Nambe recommends treating wood products occasionally with mineral oil, which is absorbed into the wood and, unlike vegetable oils, will not become rancid. Never immerse your salad servers in water; simply wipe off the surface with a hot, soapy, damp cloth to clean.
